Black Anchor Fleet Rental Notifications
Program description
By opting in to the Black Anchor Fleet Rental Notifications program, you agree to receive recurring SMS text messages from Black Anchor Fleet related to your driver account and vehicle rental. These are transactional and account-notification messages, including application status updates, vehicle pickup and return reminders, rental extension and swap confirmations, payment receipts, and document expiration alerts. This is not a marketing program.
How to opt in
You opt in during the Black Anchor Fleet driver application, where you provide and verify your mobile number and agree to receive SMS notifications. You may also text START to our number to opt in.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your rental activity (for example, application updates, pickup and return reminders, and payment receipts).
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. These charges are set by your mobile carrier and are your responsibility. Black Anchor Fleet does not charge you for receiving these messages.
How to opt out
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP to our number. After you send STOP, we will send you a message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed, and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, opt in again as described above.

If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, text HELP to our number for assistance, or email us at it@blackanchorfleet.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

SMS Opt-In
Drivers opt in to SMS notifications during the Black Anchor Fleet driver application, at the “Phone verification” step. After entering their name, email, and phone number, the applicant checks a consent box before any code is sent. The exact consent language shown at that step is:

Only applicants who check this box receive SMS messages. Consent is confirmed via a one-time verification code sent to the number provided. Applicants may also text START to our number to opt in. We do not purchase phone numbers or share them with third parties. A screenshot of the opt-in step is shown below.
